Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Free Jiujitsu Event in New Jersey

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), October’s New Jersey in Women’s Law Enforcement free jiujitsu event will be open to any female victim/survivor of Domestic Violence.

Our goal is for female law Enforcement Officers to work together with female Domestic Violence victims and assist in empowering them.

We encourage you to share this information because right now you know someone who’s dealing with domestic violence… you may, just not know it.

NJ Women in Law Enforcement (NJWLE) is partnering with NJ LEO Jiu Jitsu to bring an empowering event to survivors of domestic violence. At this event, women who have fallen victim to domestic abuse are invited to train alongside females in law enforcement while two incredible instructors that are black belts in jiu jitsu and also current law enforcement officers, teach valuable self-defense skills. You need ZERO experience and you do not have to be “in shape” to participate. This is basic but extremely essential. Your registration is completely confidential because we are dedicated to your protection. If you have childcare concerns as the reason you cannot attend, we will help with that as well. You will be in great hands as you begin, or hopefully continue, to take back some control. 

This event is FEMALE ONLY and on Sunday, October 9th, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Pure MMA located at 41 Pine St in Rockaway, NJ.
Only register if you WILL be attending.
