2nd Chance provides safe shelter and supportive services for victims of domestic and sexual violence and offers educational outreach to the communities served to create awareness of and strengthen the movement to end this violence.
Our services are all free and available to anyone who is a survivor of domestic and sexual violence- regardless of gender (or lack of gender), sexual orientation, race, religion, immigration status, age, or disability.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- 24-hour crisis hotline for domestic and sexual violence survivors- 256-236-7233
- Emergency shelter
- Forensic exam support and advocacy in local Emergency Departments
- Court and Legal Advocacy
- Case Management
- Elder abuse supportive services
- Child advocacy
- Follow-Up Services
- Counseling services
- Assistance with pets
- Community Outreach
