Nurturing lives harmed by intimate partner abuse. We are a nonprofit advocacy organization committed to ending intimate partner abuse in families and the community. Serving 17 central Kentucky counties.
Our farm, situated on the 40-acre rural property surrounding our emergency shelter, offers the opportunity for survivors to heal in the fresh air while growing strong in body and mind.
Support, counseling, advocacy, shelter, education, and prevention. These are the things we do all day, every day, in 17 Kentucky counties.
At absolutely no charge. We are community-driven and community-supported.
Serving Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, and Woodford counties.
Our shelter in rural Fayette County is a secure 42-bed home that is fully staffed 24 hours a day. Services, advocacy, and support groups also are offered at satellite offices in downtown Lexington and Danville.
We do this work because we know it is important to the health of the community. And we do it with passion and conviction because for us it’s not just a job. It’s our reason for being.
